Duties: Administrator for the Noguchi IRB/UG-IACUC; undertakes all administrative procedures in providing training and educational programs to IRB members and the greater science community; supports the chairperson of the Ethics Committee (EC) in preparing and providing a statement of assurance when required by the regulations guiding the establishment of the EC; designs and disseminates formats for EC application documents, including protocols, informed consent materials, agreements, periodic and final reports.

Duties: Coordinates and oversees the activities of five ethics committees, provides technical advice on ethical issues, creates awareness of ethical issues for faculty and students through workshops, seminars, and retreats to promote good research conduct and practice; coordinates activities of Ethics Boards; collates and reviews quarterly and annual reports; coordinates and facilitates the recruitment and appointment of ethics committee members and provides orientation and training.
