Research Development Officer

Duties: Administrator for the Ethics and Protocol Review Committee (EPRC); conducts pre-reviews of research protocols submitted to the Institutional Review Board to ensure adherence to submission guidelines; undertakes administrative arrangements in providing training in research and ethics to members of the College of Health Sciences; assists in recruiting new Ethics Board members; provides information to researchers on the Ethics Board's operational regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); oversees the compilation of protocol and ethics review comments, communicating with researchers throughout the ethical review process; involved in monitoring and auditing approved studies by the Board.

Qualifications: BSc, MPhil in Medical Pharmacology, Certificates in Project Management, Certificate in Management in Global Health
