Senior Research Development Officer

 

My responsibility as a member of the Publication, Dissemination and Translation Unit is to promote and extend the University of Ghana’s (UG) research footprint to achieve our strategic goal of impactful research. In this regard, the Unit publishes and disseminates research outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders and the public. We deploy various methods in print, radio and social media to exhibit scholarship, producing and publishing annual research reports and developing newsworthy articles to showcase UG's research and innovation initiatives.  We work through other platforms such as radio, to enable researchers to share research and innovation outcomes directly with the public, to engage and educate.

I am a member of the Southern African Research and Innovation Management Association (SARIMA) and have worked at the University since January 2006 in various roles within Institutes and Directorates. I am an alumnus of the University of Leicester from where I obtained an MSc in Human Resource Management and Development.
