Florence Antwiwaah Aboh is a Senior Assistant Registrar in charge of Research and Innovation at the Office of Research, Innovation and Consultancy, University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa, Ghana. Her skills include research management and coaching students to develop innovative ideas for commercialisation with the required entrepreneurial acumen to succeed. She is also involved in research dissemination and visibility.
She serves as a liaison between her institution's grant holders and funders. Her dealings with external funding agencies include the National Institutes of Health, DANIDA, Wellcome Trust, the European Union and the National Science Foundation. With over 18 years of experience in the research management space, she has contributed to enhancing the research and grant capacity of Faculty members in her institution and other institutions in Ghana. In addition, she promotes collaborations and partnerships between the University and industry players in the mining and related industries and sits on panels to discuss research and innovation development.
