The Australia Africa Universities Network (AAUN) invites universities, researchers, start-ups, and innovators to participate in the Circular Innovation Showcase at the AAUN Africa Forum 2026, taking place from 8–11 June 2026 at Nelson Mandela University, Gqeberha, South Africa. This call seeks to showcase innovative solutions, products, and research outputs that embody circular economy principles, with a focus on sustainability, resource efficiency, and inclusive development in Africa and Australia. The showcase aims to highlight practical innovations that can drive circular transitions across sectors and support real-world application and impact.

Exhibits may include:

• Prototypes of circular products or materials
• Interactive demonstrations or process displays
• Digital or immersive exhibitions (including VR)
• Art, fashion, and design rooted in circular principles
• Tools, services, or research outputs advancing circularity

 Submission Requirements

Applicants are required to submit:

• A 250-word description of the proposed exhibit
• Any technical or setup requirements
• Contact name, institutional affiliation, and contact details

• Researchers and innovators in engineering, environmental science, agriculture, energy, and sustainability
