ACU Commonwealth Sustainable Cities Coalition (CSCC) Gran

The Research and Innovation Directorate (RID) is pleased to inform the University community that the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), through the Commonwealth Sustainable Cities Coalition (CSCC) and funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), is inviting applications for the CSCC Grant. The grant supports rapid research and engagement activities that contribute to sustainable urbanization in the Commonwealth by mapping higher education contributions in key urban sectors and facilitating stakeholder dialogue.

Award Amount and Duration

• Total grant value: Up to GBP 12,000
• Project start date: 2 February 2026

Eligibility

• Applicants must be academic or professional staff employed at an ACU member university.
• The application must be submitted by the project lead.
• Wider project teams (including doctoral students) are encouraged, and collaboration across departments is advantageous.
