The Royal Academy of Engineering invites applications for its Green Future Fellowships (Accelerated International Route – GFF AIR).
The Green Future Fellowship programme seeks to support at least 50 exceptional scientists, researchers and innovators to transform pioneering engineering innovations into climate solutions with real-world impact.
Award amount: up to £3 million

Eligibility
- Applicants must be based outside the UK and not currently hold a substantive research or innovation presence in the UK (i.e., not resident, not in substantive UK employment).
- Open to leaders or emerging leaders in their field from any nationality or age (a PhD is not required).
- Projects must focus on climate mitigation and/or adaptation with potential benefit to the UK and beyond.
- The award must be held at a UK-based host organisation (university, research institute or company).
- Successful fellows will be expected to relocate to the UK to conduct their work. Visa support (Global Talent fast-track) is available.
