Research and Innovation Directorate Staff Pay Courtesy Call on Provost - College of Education

On Monday, February 17, 2025, Professor David Dodoo-Arhin, Director ( Research and Innovation) at the Research and Innovation Directorate (RID), paid a courtesy call on Professor Samuel N. A. Codjoe, Provost of the College of Education. This visit served as a formal introduction following Professor Dodoo-Arhin's assumption of office on January 2, 2025. He was accompanied by Mrs. Irene Yeboaa Ashiley, Administrator of RID, and   Research Development Officers (RDOs) assigned to the College of Education, Ms. Deborah Acheampon and Ms. Sylvia Sarbah.

 

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for enhancing research collaboration between RID and the College to advance the University’s broader research agenda. Professor Dodoo-Arhin shared his vision for strengthening research within the College and discussed strategies to better support the goals of the College of Education. The conversation also covered integrating RDOs more actively into College activities to improve research support, as well as including them as representatives on the College Research Board.

 

Professor Codjoe expressed his sincere appreciation for the visit and reassured Professor Dodoo-Arhin and his team of his full support. He emphasized his commitment to collaborating on efforts that will strengthen the research capacity and impact of the College. He highlighted that these initiatives align closely with both the University’s overarching vision and his own strategic goals for the College of Education.

 

This engagement represents a significant step toward fostering stronger research initiatives and cultivating a more collaborative environment between RID and the College of Education.
