The West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP), in partnership with Wellcome, will host a Grant Writing Workshop on Wellcome Funding Schemes scheduled to take place from July 27–28, 2026.

This workshop presents a valuable opportunity for talented researchers and research administrators across West Africa and beyond to strengthen their competitiveness for future funding opportunities, particularly the Early-Career Awards (ECA), Career Development Awards (CDA), and Discovery Awards schemes.

WACCBIP wishes to inform members of the university community who may be interested in participating that registration for the workshop is open.
