The Research and Innovation Directorate (RID) is pleased to bring to the attention of the University community an upcoming online event titled Bridging Academia & Industry. This free virtual session is designed for researchers who are interested in understanding how to take their research beyond academia, connect their work with industry, and build meaningful partnerships. The event is organised by Rising Scholars and Research Alpha.

 The session will cover:

• introductions to Rising Scholars and Research Alpha and the support they provide to researchers;
• how to approach and build partnerships between academia and industry;
• what industry partners look for in researchers; and
• success stories from researchers who have successfully made this transition.
