2025 Feminist Economics Summer School

The Research and Innovation Directorate is pleased to invite applications for the 2025 Feminist Economics Summer School being organized by the Institute for Economic Justice (IEJ).

 Eligibility criteria

Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements:

• Hold a degree in economics, environmental sciences, social sciences, or politics or
• Be an economist and/or practitioner or researcher in feminist economics.

 IEJ strongly encourages applications from candidates across the African continent, with priority given to those based in Southern Africa. IEJ particularly welcomes applications from women and individuals from underrepresented communities.

 Date:                    September 1 – 5, 2025

Mode:                  in person

Deadline:           July 30, 2025 (or once 200 applications have been received)

 Financial support

Fully funded and will cover travel, accommodation, and visa costs.
