Climate Impacts Awards

The Research and Innovation Directorate (RID) is pleased to inform the University community that Wellcome has opened applications for its Climate Impacts Awards (Unlocking urgent climate action by making the health effects of climate change visible). The aim of this scheme is to make the impacts of climate change on physical and mental health visible to drive urgent climate policy action at scale through transdisciplinary teams.

Award Amount and Duration

 Up to £2.5 million for a project period of up to 3 years.

Eligibility

• Administering organization, lead applicants and co-applicants can be based anywhere in the world (apart from mainland China). 

 Application Due Date: April 30, 2025
